NWPD: Starlight Casino Reenactment

Each year, the New Westminster Police Department focusses on a major local crime or safety situation through a video reenactment. These videos serve to educate the community on the everyday real-life drama experienced by our local police, placing viewers right into the action. In 2016, NWPD turned to Media Button to create a cinematic, visually dynamic look at the Starlight Casino hostage situation that occurred in 2012. The incident was highly publicized and required intense research and attention to detail and facts. The final product was a dramatic retelling of the story that helped give new perspective to audiences on what our local officers go through every day.
