Media Button was engaged by Canadian mining company Fortuna Silver Inc., to provide complete production services for a video series that documents the construction progress at their Lindero Gold project in Salta province Argentina. The series features 6 videos in total and spans a timeframe of a little more than one year.
We assembled a world-class crew from Los Angeles and Vancouver to take on this challenging project. Filmed on location in a remote and foreboding mountainous region in Argentina, rising as high as 4,500 meters above sea level and 10 hours from the nearest city, the team persevered through harsh mental and physical conditions to highlight not only the development of the mine, but also the positive impact Fortuna has had on the surrounding communities, including the local village of Tolar Grande.
Utilizing cinematic techniques, and including Drone and time-lapse footage, professional voiceovers, woven together by our award-winning editors, Media Button has crafted a documentary series that pushes the boundaries of short-form commercial filmmaking.
