Media Button Video Production

Suit your brand, goals
and budget.

All of us can relate to a long tedious day of training or thumbing through dry training manuals or pages of text online. A well-produced training video is a far more engaging, entertaining and effective way of learning. Utilizing the power of video and audio combined with graphics and motion text can substantially improve retention and deliver whatever you want to teach.

A professionally produced training video by Media Button will help new employees, existing employees and/or customers who use your product or service. Our experience ranges from training on how to captain a ship, use software, install products to HR and employee training.

Video training can be as simple as a show and tell or we can go all out and create training that is entertaining, witty, fun or creative to a degree your viewers actually look forward to it! We’ll help you convert old school to new school to suite your brand, goals and budget.

Tips for Training Videos and E-learning

  • Avoid time-dated information. For the greatest longevity build your video to facilitate learning objectives and direct the viewer to supporting companion material (online or hard copies) that details any information that might change in the not too distant future.
  • Keep it short. Even a great motion picture can lose a viewer’s attention after a relatively short period of time. Organize your content into short manageable modules or videos.
  • Don’t try to be too clever. Remember your goal (to teach) and the goal of your viewer (to learn). It’s nice to have an entertaining training video but coming across corny or overly glib with the content can undermine those goals. Important and relevant information delivered in a professional form is the foundation of a good training or e-learning video.
  • Don’t be too boring or dry. Notwithstanding the above tip, have some fun with your video. Don’t be too dry or pedantic in your approach. Yes, it’s important to deliver factual information but a little levity and entertainment can go a long way to holding your viewer’s attention.
