Building on a professional relationship spanning almost a decade, Media Button and Earls Restaurants have joined forces on a variety of projects, particularly custom event work. Each year, Media Button is tasked with creating custom, Academy Award-like event video production, as well as event coverage, for the annual Earls Experience Awards and Bus Fuller Classic Golf Tournament.

Media Button has completed a series of video production projects for The University of British Columbia, including the conceptualization, shooting, editing, and compositing of several video campaigns aimed at educating youth on the link between smoking and breast cancer.
The START program of research focused on developing health messages about the increased risk of early breast cancer associated with smoking and second-hand smoke. This video is aimed at raising awareness among teen girls of the breast cancer risks associated with being exposed to cigarette smoke.Launch Video
Kelowna, British Columbia is one of North America’s most breathtaking destinations. Coldwell Banker turned to Media Button, to help promote Kelowna, with an informative look at everything the city has to offer. Through a combination of interviews and stock footage, from our immense video library, we were able to create a video that had viewers ready to ditch the office and head on a trip down to our sun-drenched beaches!
Paige Guernsey, a Realtor in Kelowna, B.C., wanted a video that set her apart in a highly saturated market. She wanted something that was both professional and funny. Rich in history; embracing the future. A staple of Kelowna’s waterfront history since 1945, the club approached Media Button to conceptualize, write, produce, shoot and edit a short video that showcases both the club’s history, as well as it’s new two-story, 24,000 square foot clubhouse.

Newmont Mining, one of the world’s largest mining corporations and producers of gold, unveiled the state-of-the-art project known only as “JACK”, against the backdrop of British Columbia’s natural beauty. Media Button was commissioned to capture the events leading up to and during the unveiling of this revolutionary new piece of equipment, as a part of a documentary-style look at the minds and method behind the project.
Media Button was approached by, large international hotel chain, Ramada for video production work. This included everything from conceptualization of the video and development of the script, through to the filming of the production.
In addition to providing web design/development and branding services, Media Button also produced a three minute look inside the largest agricultural organization in Southern Alberta, Farming Smarter. Featuring a combination of shooting, graphics compositing, photos, voice over, and footage from our stock library, this dynamic look at Farming Smarter’s history and initiatives provided a valuable way for them to reach out to the farming community. Media Button was also tasked with capturing and editing video from various annual events and conferences.

In 2009, The City of Kelowna made a renewed commitment toward reaching out to the community. Part of that initiative including the production of a video that highlighted the area and spoke to The City of Kelowna’s vision for the future. Media Button worked closely, with The City, to create an engaging, informative look at one of Canada’s most beautiful destinations.
ALS is one of the world’s largest and most diversified analytical testing service providers, with branches located around the globe. ALS wanted to showcase it’s premier, 41,000 sq ft. facility, located in Vancover, to clients in every continent. To do so, they entrusted Media Button to create an in-depth look at their world-renowned processes and incredible, award-winning facility. With the power of video, ALS Minerals was able to reach a truly global market.
When it comes to home-buying, sometimes, it’s easy to get lost in the features. RE/MAX Priscilla - Vernon, BC understood this and tasked Media Button with the challenge of inspiring potential clients to look beyond the stainless steal appliances and 3-car garages and at the things that truly make a house a home. Media Button took this project from concept to completion, handling all aspects of the production process.

Nufloors, a Canadian flooring retailer with locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario, tasked Media Button with the production of a series of flooring videos. Nufloors also utilized other Media Button departments, and the project included web design, content writing and online marketing.
Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes of your favourite Hollywood productions? Blu Ray bonus content and EPKs (Electronic Press Kits) give regular Joes a chance take a closer look at what goes into the filmmaking process. And when 21st Century Fox’s “Flicka: Country Pride” came to Kelowna, Media Button was approached to capture the on-set magic behind the camera, including interviews with the cast and crew. In addition, Media Button also filmed the featurette “Black is Back”, with country music superstar Clint Black.

With operations around the world, Talisman is one of the biggest independent oil and gas exploration companies in Canada.
