We were approached by FortisBC to produce a corporate documentary series for a new, energy pilot program. The program involved retrofitting homes across BC, improving energy efficiency and future proofing buildings for a cleaner energy future. Our brief was to tell human stories in an engaging way, highlighting the history of the buildings, and introducing the homeowner’s perspective. All while communicating the important message behind the project.

The campaign needed both video and photography, requiring our crew to travel all around the province to capture each individual story. By mixing our lead voicover with each homeowner, we looked to engage audiences with a more conversational style. Creating an authentic documentary feel was intrinsic to our process and developed an authentic, unscripted campaign.
